The Story Behind Our Book
We started Beers at the Bottom in July 2013. At the time, pairing "trails and ales" was something many people did naturally, without much thought. Simply take a hike, then enjoy a beer (and food) at the nearest brewery. It was just for fun. Or so we thought!

Researching our new guidebook, Beer Hiking Pacific Northwest!
But we couldn't stop thinking about it. We scoured the internet for related blogs and websites. We checked Google and Amazon for books on the subject. It seemed that everyone was "beer hiking", but no one was talking about it.

So we started our own blog, with the hopes of one day writing a book.

Five years later our guidebook, Beer Hiking Pacific Northwest, became a reality!
It's been quite the journey since our humble beginnings in Bellingham, and we are so excited to share this project with our readers. Cheers!

Just checking - are there any Barnes & Noble stores in Seattle or Bellevue where I can find this book?!

I would love to get your book but it is not available on Amazon. Any other retailers local to Vancouver or Portland?

Hi, I’ve just emailed to the beers at the bottom Gmail. Hoping to hear back about ordering a copy of the book! We are planning our parents 25th anniversary surprise trip based on this book, or at least that what we hope to do. Thanks! Vanessa Fitts

Hello fellow beer enthusiasts and hikers. I would like to stock your book at both of our taprooms, Kenmore and Mount Vernon. Would a meet and greet night be possible at bother/either location? My plan was to start a meetup group of this exact activity once a month, starting out from either of our locations. Would love to have you talk about it and sign copies.
